Watch this video to learn how Manav Gulzar provided quality education to students in a non-formal setup, blossomed into a formal center of education that brought sustainable change in the development landscape of Ahmedabad.

Manav Gulzar is a community development project by Flowering Tree and Manav Sadhna to provide education and livelihood programs to the transient populations of the old city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. One of the project's main initiatives is the Flowering Tree School, established under the government open school program in 2018. The school provides formal education to children in the community center, with pedagogies based on each student's learning style and supplemented by extra-curricular activities, leadership opportunities, and field trips. The school also offers programs like "Jugnoo" and the "Arts program" for holistic student development.

Apart from the school, the Manav Gulzar Community Center offers several programs to the community, including tuition classes, livelihood and skills programs like tailoring and computer courses, and the Annapurna program that provides daily nutritious meals to every child. The Women's Savings program guides women to make sound financial decisions, while the Nagrik Kalyan Seva Kendra initiative helps members with government services.

Since its inception, Manav Gulzar has positively impacted over 9000 individuals, with more than 82,000 people accessing the community center for education, nutrition, skill development, and recreation. The Flowering Tree School has emerged as a critical component of the project, helping children in the community gain access to formal education and brighter futures.
