Inspiring creativity, confidence, and self-expression in Maharashtra's youth.

Unlocking infinite potential of every child through Music, Dance, and Storytelling.

Learn how Anant empowers children from the marginalised communities in Maharashtra through arts education, that includes music, dance, and storytelling.

Project Anant is an initiative to provide arts education to Maharashtra's marginalized communities. Using a pedagogy based on local culture and language, Project Anant fosters children's self-awareness, livelihood, and creative self-expression. The program operates in fifteen centers across Maharashtra's Raigad district and has touched the lives of over 1300 children and their families.

The pedagogy for Project Anant rests on the belief that children learn best by doing. The program is immersive and participatory, encouraging experimentation and risk-taking. Working collaboratively, children develop essential social and interpersonal skills, such as teamwork, communication, and cooperation. As a result, Project Anant nurtures a sense of belonging, resulting in a safe and supportive environment for children to thrive and develop resilience.

Through the program, children gain experience and develop competencies. Anant's signature is the development of self-concept, self-expression, and confidence to communicate in all settings. With trained music and dance teachers, participants grow to understand their aspirations. Project Anant empowers children to become active contributors to their families and society, enabling them to listen and become part of a culture of service or sewa.

  • "Words are not enough to express how much I have learnt under the Anant programme and whatever I am today, that is only because of what I have learnt in the singing class under the Anant programme."

    Gayatri Amale

  • "I wish to stand as a role model in society whether it is in academic field, singing field or tabla field. I got that opportunity from the Anant Programme."
